Backstage and Front of House volunteers are now being organised for November’s show, ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas.
Whether you are checking tickets, serving tea or coffee or drinks at the bar or helping move scenery or props you can help bring entertainment to Ditchling and be involved without learning lines or dressing up in funny costumes!

TO DIE FOR by Caroline Smith
This contemporary mystery-thriller blends sharp social satire with gothic romance!
Best-selling historical romance writer Carla Woods lives in a Gothic mansion and enjoys playing dangerous mind games with her secretaries. One dark and stormy night a mysterious dark and handsome man shows up at her door.
Could this simply be payback from a disgruntled employee or could it be… love’s destiny?
A twisting, turning comedy-thriller, is similar in style to Deathtrap and Sleuth, but with two very intelligent and charismatic female combatants – and one devastatingly handsome man.
New to UK audiences the play has a strong track record with audiences in North America, and its mix of wit, psychological games, and surprise twists is sure to be a hit here as well.
Performances will be Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29th May 2027
Painting & Wrapping
Saturday 24th October is painting day for the set for ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas and we need as many hands available as possible.
Work starts at 10am at Ditchling Village Hall and as well as unrolling the backdrop and painting its base coat and then decoration we also need to create some piles of toys and presents for Santa’s workshop.
This means wrapping up cardboard boxes, large and small, and we need plenty of Xmas wrapping paper, as well as any bows, ribbons and other trimmings.
So as well as willing helpers we are also keen to have any surplus seasonal wrapping paper.
If you can’t attend but have materials to donate please get in touch.
If you can come then it will help if you bring your own scissors, sticky tape, tools and other appropriate equipment!
